Estes Park sits at the foothills of the Rockies in the middle of Rocky Mountain National Park. This small town is known as one of the gateways to the Rockies from the Front Range, making it a great place to rent a vacation home to experience the best of both areas. Estes Park is located between Boulder and Fort Collins.

Because of its proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park, most visitors head to the park for the majority of their vacation activities. In the park, visitors can drive along the highest continuous roadway in America, see wildlife, hike, bike and much more. In the town of Estes Park, more than 200 retail shops give the less adventurous a plethora of activities to do as well. Estes Park also has a nice restaurant selection and a scenic river walk that invite visitors to stay awhile.

Estes Park is also home to nearby Lake Estes, where you’ll often see boaters on the water and horseback riders and hikers on the nearby trails. Estes Park is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts like rock climbers because of the crags, and skiers and snowboarders who want to tear up some fresh powder at ski resorts like Winter Park.
