This chalet is one of 9 units situtated in Bauer's Spruce Island Chalets' semi-isolalted 12 acres of grassy picnic area and pine-forested hillside. Bauer's Spruce Island Chalets is located adjacent to a 1,000 acrea mountain park 2 miles from the center of downtown Evergreen, Colorado...but far away from it all.

Located in Jefferson County you will be close to thousands of acres of county, state and national forest open space offering hiking, biking, world class fishing and all the wonders of nature in our Elk Wildlife Management area where you'll encounter elk, deer and other wildlife from your car or while hiking or biking.
Evergreen offers a wide area of special events including arts and crafts festivals, a jazz festival, internationally famous cycle events, family walks and competitve 10K's, food festivals and a nationally rated rodeo. Additionally, Bauer's Spruce Island Chalets is close to Red Rocks Amphitheater where you can see nationally acclaimed musicians in concert, the Mile-Hi Nationals at Bandemere Speedway, our local musics venues: The Little Bear and Cactus Jack's where summer week-ends host all types of musicians.
Evergreen has a municiipal golf course, lake with boat rentals and fishing, nationally acclaimed fly fishing schools and streams, art galleries, and some of the most fantastic scenery.
