Golden Grass Estates is a cozy log cabin located on the edge of Thorodin Mountain in Gilpin County, Colorado near the small mountain town of Nederland. It is often referred to as the Little House on the Prairie "with mountains". The view of the Continental Divide from the upper deck is breathtaking. Since it was built by professional craftsmen in 1955 it's as solid now as it was at its beginnings. Of course, it has been continually remodeled and updated with all the necessary amenities to make it an extremely comfortable getaway. Golden Grass Estates sits on one acre of beautiful wooded privacy, and, at an altitude of 9600 ft, has the feel of a hawk's nest as you sit and view the gorgeous Rocky Mountain vistas from the upper deck. You will feel like you have gone back in time to a more peaceful era. We would love to share it with you.
